Dr. Matthew Murphy, Ramsey, Superintendent, 2021 Holiday Message

Dear Ramsey School District Family

As we get ready for Winter Recess, I am pausing to thank you for all your work and support and to wish you and your loved ones a blessed 2022.

A few months ago, I was not sure what September 2021 was going to bring us. I was excited for the school year to start and for it to be a “normal” year. However, I would be less than honest if I say that I feel this way right now. Between the stresses of social media, the holidays, politics, and COVID, I am anxious about what the coming months will bring.

However, what I do know and what I can control is that there is no better place and no more nurturing organization than that of the Ramsey Public Schools to have these emotions. The challenges aren’t easy and there is no single solution, but we will get through this together.

I promise you that in 2022, we will continue to provide our students with an educational experience that embraces the whole child. We will help nurture them to be the best version of themselves while guiding their development of the knowledge, skills, and tools to make a difference in the world.

I promise you that I will be alongside you in person or in spirit each and every day.

Students, parents, staff, and community members all play important roles in making our district what it is. THANK YOU for being a part of the accomplished, inspiring organization that is Ramsey Public Schools! Please be sure to enjoy this time with your family and friends and also make some time for yourself.

Yours faithfully,

Matthew J. Murphy, Ed.D.
