Congrats to 10th Grader Arielle Huang for her winning work in the NJ State Science Day competition. The purpose of the competition is to acknowledge high school students’ use of science and engineering practices to define a problem in your community with a focus on its marginalized and/or underserved members, and to design a solution. Arielle solution was titled “The Prevention of Vector-Borne Diseases in NJ” and she was supported by her high school chemistry teacher, Ms. Shurminsky.
