RHS Students named to regional ensembles
Five Ramsey High School students were accepted into the 2021 National Association for Music Education (NAfM) All-Eastern Honors Ensembles! Seniors Allison Los and Bailey Felderman were accepted into the Treble Chorus; Juniors Joseph Muscarelle and Thomas Gilligan gained seats in the Mixed Chorus; and Senior Abigail Lim earned a place in the Band. All-Eastern Honor Ensembles are composed of students from 12 states, and represent some of the finest high school musicians in the country.
While in-person rehearsals and performances are impossible this year, Ramsey students will join their esteemed peers to participate in a “Virtual Weekend” in March, which will include masterclasses with professional musicians and rehearsals with the conductors. It will culminate with a virtual performance to be premiered April 23 during the NAfME Eastern Division Virtual In-Service Conference.
