Ramsey Fine Arts continues to shine. Based on the quality of our music instruction and overall music education program, the Ramsey School District has earned the “Best Community for Music Education” status in 2020 from NAMM Foundation! Thank you, parents, BOE, teachers, and students.
We are also excited to announce that an astounding 46 Ramsey students earned seats in Bergen County Band and Chorus ensembles, which rewarded them for dedication to their craft. The audition process, rehearsal schedule, and ultimate performance also gave them a chance to meet other musical standouts from the region. Those impressive results are proof of the high-quality music instruction program at Smith Middle School and Ramsey High School. This year, the high school band conductor was Ramsey High School’s Cliff Bialkin, and high school chorus leadership included RHS’s Rebecca Saltzman as a manager.
